Fabulous Spacious Location

"We were a family of six adults and four children, four and under. This house gave us plenty of space. It is an older house with some needed updates. But it was clean, comfortable, and perfect for us. The beds were so very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again, and hope to next year!The host is the kindest person who wishes to ensure your comfort and needs are met. We felt at home. You can’t beat the location, especially with children. How convenient to walk across the street to the perfect ocean inlet for toddlers. It made it easy for those who needed naps to just walk back across while others stayed and enjoyed the ocean water. Just a few steps further was the perfect area for our experienced surfer in the family (you can bring or rent a board for a day or the week at the surf shop next door), and yet a few steps in the other direction you can body surf or board. Plus, beautiful park in the middle of it all. This inlet has turtles swim in daily to rest. Please give them their space and enjoy from a distance. By evening there can be 30 or more resting in this inlet. During winter months there has been recorded over 100 in this spot at one time.You have food within steps, as well as cocktails.Plenty of places to dine and shop just minutes away with your car. Be sure to drive to each end of the island to experience the whole beauty of Kauai. We had a lovely stay and will plan to return again next year! Thank you to our host Steve!!! "

Kiahuna Plantation Resort Kauai by OUTRIGGER

"Great location on the island. Comfortable accommodations. We didn't realize there was no AC in the unit so it made for a bit warmer temps than we're used to, but the evenings were nice. Since you had to keep windows open, it made for a bit loud evenings as you could hear passerby's and neighbors, cars, etc. I wore earplugs, but wife was annoyed by getting awoken at 3am by the roosters! Overall, would stay again. "

"Our multigenerational family traveled to Kauai together and found this home that fit most of our needs! Excellent location and close enough that you hear the waves crashing! Beautiful pool with a spa but during our stay the spa wasn’t heated, and jet switch didn’t work. Overall you won’t regret staying here as it is walking distance to so much on the south shore! Gabe had great communication throughout our stay as well! Hard to leave the beautiful island!"
