"This was an unfortunate stay in an otherwise great trip. When we arrived they had no record of our booking even though it had been prepaid. We felt that since we had phoned ahead contingency plans should have been put in place before we actually arrived. As it was we had to wait and hour for alternative accommodation was sourced. This was after a 9 hour drive. Now in fairness we were put up in a very nice family home with no hassle and it did seem that the issue was with hotels.com rather...
