"We went on a business trip and booked this apartment at least 2 weeks in advance. On the day we were supposed to spend the night in the apartment, we arrived around 18:00, and no owner or anyone else at the address. When we called and contacted about a reservation, the lady said that she had some duties that day and she could not accommodate us for the night. Literally, she left us sleeping in the car on an island in February with no way to get back to the mainland. The first ferry is at 05:30...

"I had a lovely stay. Adriana, the host, was friendly and helpful, she met me when I arrived and showed me round. I didn't spend much time in the apartment as I was in Vis for work, but it was neat and clean, and provided everything I needed (the balcony with sea view was a bonus). The apartment is in a great location in the pretty, quiet village of Rukavac, 5 mins walk from restaurants, the harbour, and a pebble beach."

Its a short walk to the port and there is a super market near hy. Very happy with the room. There were lots of toiletires, towels and a fridge and and kettle. "The room was adequate for a one night stay, however not as close to town as expected and up a lot of stairs unless you know an alternate route. Taxis not so easy to get. I would suggest anybody walking to look up the route for cars so you don’t have stairs, with suitcases. Very helpful with suggestions of better walking routes and places to eat and happy to store our bags for the day. A electric jug is provided in the room but no tea or coffee, which is unusual and rather pointless. Comfortable...

"I highly recommend this modern apartment for your visit to Hvar. It is fully equipped with kitchen, wifi, AC and fantastic terrace overlooking the town. The management (Ana) is excellent, with great communications before, during and after the visit. Everything is quiet as you sit above the town, but also convenient walking to the town for all activities. Really enjoyed the island and my stay. Be sure to do some boat excursions and spend a day or 2 exploring the other parts of the island....
