The area wasn't bad, public transportation all around and the art gallery and botanic gardens are just a short walk away. The front desk is open 9-5 and anything out of that there's no one on site to talk to. Ice had accumulated in my fridge and was then defrosting which caused it to leak onto the carpet. This caused a really unpleasant smell. I asked the front desk if I could switch rooms but they were full up so he asked me to just move the fridge into the hallway and they would take it away and made it sound like I inconvenienced him by asking him for help. No replacement fridge was available and the water on the carpet was there for multiple days as it was quite damp. Breakfast was alright nothing special, some yogurt and eggs/bacon/tomatoes and toasts. There was a few really wrinkly and dehydrated mandarins but those were promptly removed. Shaving outlet in room was also not working, used the room next to mine since it was checked out as was mine and it worked so thanks to the housekeeping staff that let me do that.

Hosts were beautiful people, very welcoming and accomodating.
Location is spectacular, with premium suites, set up perfectly.
Chef on site with the highest quality of food and drinks for every meal.
So much history on the island and surrounding areas with plenty of fun and interesting activities.
My wife and I had the best time and cannot wait to be back!!

The hotel room was small but clean. I liked that it was not modern and had character. It was surprisingly quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was very central and I would stay here again.

"In the Chinatown part of town so it’s very busy outside. However it is close to the town hall station. Room is dated especially the carpet. Small things such as only one light beside the bed and no switches for the main light near the bed. Overall very clean"

"Location was close to transportation. Despite doing their best to provide rooms by 3pm, be prepared to wait a bit longer. On that note, they have a common lounge area on the 15th floor. Checking staff was friendly, but not accommodative."
