Ruhige Lage, freundlicher Service, Restaurant im Haus mit guter Küche. Preisniveau etwas gehoben. Viele Alternativen dazu gab es in der Vorsaison allerdings nicht. Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar hinter den Dünen. Kurzer, aber anstrengender und für Leute mit Gehproblemen schwieriger Weg zum schönen, langen Sandstrand. Das Haus hat keinen eigenen Parkplatz. Bis zum öffentlichen Parkplatz, der von Hotelgästen mitgenutzt werden kann, sind es ca. 5 Gehminuten.

Wij verbleven hier tijdens een hittegolf. Prachtige locatie, gelijk achter de duinen. Prima kamers en ontbijt. Gezellig terras, tafels zijn wel plakkerig en personeel rookt er tijdens pauze. Wij hebben genoten.

Wir waren in der Familien Suite. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Der kleine Kühlschrank war sehr nützlich für Lunch-Zutaten frisch halten, vier Fahrradminuten hat es einen gut Spar mit guter Fleisch-/Käseauswahl. Die Klimaanlagen, eine im Wohnzimmer (2 Betten), eine Schlafzimmer (3 Betten), waren abends, als die Sonne das Gebäude aufgeheizt hatte, genau das Notwendige. Es wurde täglich sauber gereinigt. Das Frühstück war nicht abwechslungsreich, das hatten wir schon von anderen Besuchern gelesen, aber es war für uns genügend reichhaltig. Die Lage ist exzellent, man kann mit Flipflops aus der Unterkunft gleich über die Düne an den Strand laufen. Liegestuhl, Sonnenschirm können gemietet werden, Getränkebar. Strand war sauber und nie voll, wohl da der nächste Parkplatz ca. fünfzehn Gehminuten weg ist. Nichts also für Leute, die gleich wieder weg wollen, etwas für uns, die wir gene einen Ort auskosten. Apropos, gleich um die Ecke gibt es eine Eisdiele mit klasse Eis - tägliches Muss! Die Restaurants vor Ort haben dagegen ein eintöniges Angebot. Dafür sind wir also doch weg, in einer Viertelstunde ist man mit dem Fahrrad in Vlissingen. Fahrräder beim Geschäft gleich um die Ecke mietbar.

The staff was about as helpful and friendly as I have ever seen. We got there a little late and after we got settled in, we went to the cafe to see if they were still serving. They weren't but the lady that was helping us went back into the kitchen and persuaded the cooks to bring us out some friets. It was just very nice. The location of the hotel was very close to the ocean so being able to run or walk the beach (I did both) was very convenient. I would come here again.

Schöne Unterkunft zum Herunterkommen
Ein wirklich kleines, feines Hotel / Eetcafe. Einmal über die Düne und man ist am endlosen Strand von Zeeland. Wer die optimale Mischung von Hotel und Pension, umsorgt werden und doch in Ruhe gelassen werden sucht, ist hier total richtig. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber sehr schön. Die Einrichtung ist bemerkenswert schlicht, schön, modern und trotzdem gemütlich, die Betten superbeqem . Das Duschbad auf dem neuesten Stand . Und alles pikobello sauber ! Ebenso war das Frühstück reichhaltig, lecker , dabei nicht zu überladen. Auch zum Ende der Frühstückszeit wurde das ganze Angebot fortwährend ergänzt. Wir selber haben im Eetcafe / Restaurnt nur eine kleine Zwischenmahlzeit gehabt, Auch hier , Preis/Leistung bestens ! Zum Personal : freundlich, aufmerksam, zuvorkommend, nie aufdringlich . Fazit : sehr zu empfehlen für kurz mal weg ! Das einzige Manko für unseren Geschmack, hinter und neben dem Hotel erstreckt sich ein recht neu entstandener Ferienhaus - Hotelkomplex. Doch da kann ja das nette Eetcafe Duinlust nichts für :-)

Kurztrip im süßen Hotel Duinlust
Wir waren für 1 Nacht im Hotel Duinlust. Der Eindruck vom Gastraum war sehr positiv und gemütlich, mit einer schönen Terrasse. Man braucht nur einmal über die Düne und ist direkt am Meer. Die Einrichtung des Zimmer war sehr liebevoll dekoriert. Das Bad sah sehr neu aus. Für mich persönlich war das Bett und das Schlafkissen sehr ungemütlich und die eine Nacht die wir da waren habe ich so gut wie gar nicht geschlafen. :-( Zu dem ist es leider sehr sehr hellhörig. Und auch die Fenster sind sehr hellhörig, es hat sich angehört als würde man unter freiem Himmel schlafen (es war sehr stürmisch in der Nacht) Das Frühstück war völlig ausreichend, lecker und schön angerichtet. Wären die Fenster besser isoliert und die Wände/ Decken nicht so hellhörig würde es volle Punktzahl geben, weil es mir ansonsten für einen Kurztrip sehr gut gefallen hat, zumal die Lage echt toll war.
