"Overall a good stay. Food was an average standard. Restaurants lacking in any manager to be seen and sometimes waiting too long for service. Stayed in beach view villa which was excellent. Food which was cold from time to time would need to improve. "

"Great location but service is below par. Ferry from pier to hotel can be a hassle. Checkin experience was slow and painful too. Staff is courteous but doesn’t seem too bothered towards customer comfort or requirements. However, the location is great and private beach is nice too. So if you are here for few days of quiet, relaxed holiday - it’s fine. But if you want to go to other parts too , it can be a hassle and you would loose time in transfers. Food / restaurants at the hotel are expensive...

"Loved our stay at Varana Hotel in Krabi. The staff was amazing. The hotel is gorgeous and quiet. We were looking for a bit more quiet and relaxing stay and that's exactly what we got. The food at the restaurants is great. You have to walk accross the street to get to the beach which is gorgeous. The water is shallow so you're able to walk to a small island. Would definitely stay here again."

"Great bed, nice balcony overlooking the pool. Quieter then I anticipated walking distances to beach and dining roof top pool was nice.staff were all very helpful and efficient.Room could be stuffy after being out there was sometimes smell of the septic. Good value for what we paid"

"Fabulous hotel on a beautiful beach - rooms were excellent, staff lovely and beautiful hotel grounds. Some nice beach bars along the beach. Only downside were noisy guests in room above very late at night but not hotels fault "
