"The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner. "Camels, and 4X4’s, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff. Thank you Alí and everyone else for giving us a memorable few days in Africa!"

"It was Dec so a little too cold in the desert for a comfortable sleep. They enough provided enough quilts but when the bed is cold, it is cold :-) They had warm running water, bathrooms were clean and well equipped. They do not take credit cards so be prepared to carry cash. The owner met us in the city afterwards, we had to stand in line, withdraw money multiple times from the ATM to give him cash. He was very friendly but the process took away time from our schedule. "

El dueño del campamento me escribió por whatsapp comentandome que al final en el de Zagora no tenían hueco y me pasaron al de Tagounite (60 km mas abajo de Zagora). El campamento está una duna bastante grande, alejado de la carretera a 16 km de Tagounite. Está decorado bastante bien para estar en medio del desierto, tienen agua y electricidad. "We had an amazing 2-night stay at Kam Kam camps. We were welcomed graciously with tea and treats (as is typical in Morocco). The camp grounds were beautiful. "The property accepted our 2-night reservation 2 months ago but they were closed when we arrived. We had to find another lodging option on the spot. Not even an apology from the owner that we could contact on the phone. Terrible experience! "
