"This property was remote and secluded, making it a quiet retreat. Since it is so remote, getting to it was challenging, but once you are here it is a little slice of an desert oasis to get away from the noise of the city. The staff were amazing and accommodating. The food was delicious and plentiful. You can sign up for extra excursions if you like. The entertainment was incredible and very talented. I really enjoyed my stay here."

"The Marina Mahal is a great value option close to the centre of Jaisalmer. Akbar and Marina are a delightful Indian/New Zealand couple who are extremely hospitable and who do everything to make your stay memorable. They can arrange a brilliant trip into the desert. The vegetarian food in the rooftop restaurant is excellent and the views are stunning. Rooms are comfortable with AC, reliable hot water and free WiFi and the whole place exudes local atmosphere.
