We love THE BLOSSOM KUMAMOTO! We were stunned by how beautiful and elegant this hotel is when we walked into the lobby. The facility is top notch and the staff are friendly and helpful. Location-wise, it is above the Amu Plaza right next to the Kumamoto train station. You can find plenty of shopping and dining options around this are. Plenty of famout restaurants have branches in Amu Plaza and Higo Yokamon Ichba Market. If you would like to stay in a hotel in Kumamoto close to the station, THE BLOSSOM KUMAMOTO is the best choice.

THE BLOSSOM KUMAMOTO is amazing. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The facility is quite new and well-maintained. This hotel is located above Amu Plaza next to the train station. There are plenty of dining options here, and you can find the branches of many famous restaurants in Amu Plaza or Higo Yokamon Ichba Market. For people traveling with JR trains, I highly recommend staying here.

Very hard to fault this hotel, the stay was excellent and staff always really attentive and professional. The room was great, new and clean. An average experience. No free room upgrade provided. Staff forgot to provide vip perks until the next day. Was asked to pay for a dinner fee when I did not opt for any dinners. It was probably recorded incorrectly to my room number. Not very elder friendly as well as there’s quite a distance from the mall to the hotel. And you got to change to different lifts in order to access to the lobby.

Our favorite hotel on our trip to Japan! The hotel is right above a shopping mall and right next to the train station. It has also has a beautiful private onsen, laundry machines, and ¥1000/day parking. One small issue happened during check-in: we arrived soaken wet during a downpour, but were told we could not go to our room as it was before the check-in time. It was only after we asked to get our luggage (which had been forwarded to the hotel) that we were able check-in early as the bags were already in our room. It would have been nice if they had checked whether the room was ready, as they could clearly see we were soaked and needed to change. Regardless, it was a very nice hotel and I highly recommend it.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Even though we had a language barrier, the staff was able to communicate with us. I would highly recommend this place.

Comfy bed, spacious room, very nice staff who speak pretty good English, great breakfast, charging cable in room, what’s not to love! Now all you have to do is find the entrance 😂
