It was great to be close to Kumamoto Station, where hotels are affordable and you can tour Kumamoto City for 180 yen on the streetcar, and there are plenty of dining and souvenir options available inside the station. However, the access from Kumamoto Airport was not very good, but it wasn't a particular problem.

Super convenient location, only a few minutes from the station. Check in/out process was very quick and easy. Room was a good size, and as we stayed high up, we had a great view of the city. The bed was very firm though and the walls arent the thickest so you can occasionally hear other people.

Great service and location

Hotel is conveniently located and just a 5 min walk to the Kumamoto rail station. Service at reception was excellent. I had some issue with the lock on my door and it was promptly attended too. The stay comes with a free Japanese breakfast with option to dine in or take out. Overall will stay at this hotel again.

Very helpful staff. Good breakfast included in price. Decent sized room with good amenities. Obviously excellent location for transport. I wish hotels wouldn't do the 'one guest, one pillow' thing though. As a side sleeper, one pillow is generally too thin for me to get comfortable. Also, it would have been helpful to have a recycling point (e.g. a bin for PET bottles).

Great location, just a 2-3min walk from Kumamoto Station/ Amu Plaza. We were blessed with a high floor twin room with good view of the city. Room is tight & would be tough to open up luggage but it was ok for us as we had couriered our large luggages to the next hotel. Beds were ok and the free breakfast was basic but adequate & yummy to me. Great value for the price.

Clean and comfortable hotel

Clean and comfortable hotel. WiFi and water power are strong. Bathtub is big. Clean towel and bed sheet. Room cleaning service is provided every three nights. You can get the free toothbrush, comb ..etc at the lobby. Other daily necessities are provided in the room. There are free coffee machine at the lobby too. You can get hot and cold water 24 hours in the lobby. The breakfast is free. The choices are not too much but enough for breakfast and tasteful. They change some of the dishes every day. The staff is very nice. The hotel is just next to the MTR station and within 3 minutes walking distance. There are many many restaurants at the MTR station. I like the breakfast, the location, the room and everything in the hotel. I will not have another choice when I go to Kumamoto next time. Highly recommend.
