Hotel Mingdu - Fake advertisement...!!!

Mingdu Hotel in Kumming, China did not fulfill the advertised free shuttle pick up from the airport. Their contention was that it was an advertisement by a third party, i.e. Hotel.com was not authorized to offer free airport shuttle in its offer. After settling this issue verbally at check out, Hotel Mingdu informed that we had left without paying for the free airport pick up as advertised.

여기를 예약하면 안됩니다.

이곳을 절대 예약하면 안됩니다. 그 이유는 이곳이 쟈화 호텔이 아니라 밍두 호텔이기 때문입니다. 종업원들 다 당황해 하더군요. 주소와 전화번호가 맞는데, 이상한 일이라면서요. 빈 방도 없어서 곤란했습니다. 계속 찾으면서 예약된 게 없다고 하면서요. 다행히 친절한 종업원 덕분에 건너편 호텔을 저렴한 가격에 이용할 수 있었습니다. 위치는 지하철에서 한 블럭 정도(걸어서 10분) 떨어져 있습니다. 짐이 많으면 약간 불편할 수 있고요. 버스를 이용하실 수 있으면 큰 문제는 되지 않습니다. 아 그리고 카드결제가 안됩니다. 쿤밍은 특히 카드결제 안되는 상점들이 많더군요. 주의하시기 바랍니다. 웨이신이나 현금결제만 가능합니다. 카드를 긁어보았는데, 결제용 기기가 뭔가 터치를 하는 방식인데, 한국 카드로는 이용이 안되는 기기 같습니다. 상점 주인이 쿤밍은 전부 이 기기를 쓴다고 하니 참고하시기 바랍니다. 아무튼 결론은 여기를 예약하면 안됩니다. 전혀 다른 호텔입니다. 그리고 Hotels.com은 반성하시기 바랍니다. 밤 12시에 상당히 곤혹스러웠습니다. 제가 중국어를 못했거나 현금이 없었으면 어땠을까 생각하니 아직도 아찔하네요. 정확히 서비스해주시기 바랍니다.
