First let me say, the room at this property was better than expected. While not a large room like you’d see at a chain hotel, it was well appointed. Big bed, fridge, microwave and coffee maker, dining area, chairs outside to enjoy the sunset. You can tell they have put care and thought into this property. It’s pet friendly and they even have a dog area. The hotel is also about a 2 minute walk to the gorgeous beach. Ok so depending on your perspective these next points might be downsides. There is no physical front desk staff. Everything is handled remotely. They send you text messages with check in instructions. I found it easy, but other traveller's may not. Also it should be noted that the lack of on site staff does not mean this is a rowdy hotel. Quite the opposite! By about 10 pm, you barely heard anyone moving about. As a single traveler I felt very safe. For me, the downside to this property is the parking lot. They do assign parking, but towards the evening, the small lot can be tough if you have a bigger vehicle like I do. There is other parking in the area though and on the street. Overall I enjoyed my stay and if I’m wanting to go to Kure Beach again I’ll gladly stay there.

I absolutely loved this motel! It was super convenient, and they are very dog friendly. My room was really close to a grassy area for dogs, which was very helpful for my senior dachshund! The staff was so kind and responsive. The room itself was super cute and clean. I wish I would’ve found this place for my entire trip!

Overall, a very well done renovation. Room 9 needs light in kitchen area. Main stairs need paint stripe or tape on edge of steps to make safer. When time to replace AC window units, should spend more for quieter units. Great dog run area! Our three room crowd enjoyed our stay!

The room was decorated nicely and was very comfortable. The bathroom was nicely appointed and the soaps smelled great! The bed was clean and the pillows were excellent. There is a nice pool, comfy seating area on the deck outside the room and very convenient to the beach and restaurants!
