"Just a few min walk from the center and right by the viewpoint. Nice big clean room, incredible views, safe area. Very helpful staff and the hotel manager goes out of his way to help (I needed a private taxi to go to bandipur and wanted a jeep as it had rained a lot - he organised it perfectly and at a good price). Breakfast is a bit average (like most places) but correct and filling. I would absolutely go back and recommend! "

The town is an absolute haven of calm, and a real retreat from the hutle and bustle of kathmandu and nepal in general - there are great food venues near by and beautiful view points! "A charming period building with some really good features and unusual rooms! Prepare to get VERY cold and feel VERY damp during your stay, it’s really OVER priced, NO heaters available and staff offer a backpackers feel and not at all $100 feel, a fire was lit downstairs but it attracted all the staff to sit around it and some people from outside that left us not able to even see the fire....I had to ask them to move to get a little heat while we ate...not worth the money, but the building is...

"The room was adequate, there was only warmish water, not hot, but the staff were all friendly and helpful. The Nepali food in the restaurant was good and it is a pleasant setting. Wifi worked well.The location was very convenient to walk to Devghat and buses westward. We would definitely stay here again."
