"If you missed out on the Communist era, the Hotel Neboder is running a neat simulation, note-perfect in several aspects: the menacing front-desk staff, outdated and broken furniture, carpets that needed replacing 20 years ago, and, of course, the truly scary mid-70’s elevator. Extra touches include an air conditioner pegged at 24 C, and room curtains that don’t fit the windows, but none of it would really work without the general atmosphere of hopelessness that is their real masterstroke. "A fabulous hotel situated just at the Rab Town ferry point. Gorgeous old and modern features inside, interesting artwork , marble staircase. A very calming atmosphere. The room with harbour balcony was large , very comfortable. We only stayed one night but wished we had booked for longer. Staff were very professional and polite. Never seen a bottle of fizz at the breakfast buffet before!"
