"You would want to rent this little cottage mostly for the great location (5 minutes walk from the beach) and outdoor seating area with nice little pool and awesome bbq. The cottage itself is quite basic, but you'll want to spend most of your time outdoors anyway. The cottage doesn't have any shutters, so it can get very warm in the summer. Sleeping with the windows open can be a challenge because of the AP7 highway nearby."

"My partner and I had a lovely time at Villa Joel. We stayed for 2 weeks. We particularly enjoyed the wonderful garden and amazing pool. The garden is beautifully laid out and is very peaceful with quiet neighbours. We also enjoyed the summer kitchen which was another great feature. We loved the air-con inside too and while we picked the downstairs double bedroom without air-con (upstairs double bedroom does have it) we found that the house was exceptionally cool inside (we do as the Spanish do, leave windows shut and shutters down to keep heat out). Our bedroom had a walk-in wardrobe which was great. The house was very comfortable, enormous tv, and all the appliances you need (dishwasher, washing machine, a second extra freezer and good size fridge). The host had even left some dishwasher tablets, coffee pods and other kitchen bits which was a lovely touch. The villa is very well placed within Les Tres Cales urbanisation. The supermarket is a 3 minute walk away and the bars/restaurants are a 6 minute walk. It is a 5 minute drive into L’Ametlla de Mar town and we drove the 20 minutes (easy drive) to Salou frequently. We also found it easy to visit Cambrils, Tarragona, Reus and Barcelona. The beaches are a couple of minutes away. The host herself was very friendly and helpful, as was the maintenance man. Check-in and check-out was very easy and stress-free. We had a wonderful time at Villa Joel and would definitely stay again! Thank you for having us. 😊"

"Our stay there was great. The house is spacious, there are 2 separate flats. It is fully equiped with everything you need. Every room has an air-conditioning unit. The pool is big, clean, there is an outdoor shower and toilet. In the garden there is a barbecue with a seating area. The beaches are close, sea water is incredibly clear. Not far from the house there is Mercadona, some restaurants. If you want to do some sightseeing, I´d recommend Tarragona and its Roman monuments, Reus with a Gaudí museum and Casa Natas (a fantastic art-nouveau villa). All the towns near are worth of seeing. This place was one of the best of our holidays over last 20 years. The communication with the owner and the agency was easy, fast and smooth. i wouls recommend the place to everybody."

"Now stayed in this location on three occasions Very very secluded . Accommodation is very clean and all we need is there Check in is easy , communication has been super on each occasion On site hosts are quickly available, if needed Journey into nearest towns is approximately 10 minutes at a very leisurely pace If you want a break away from a busy world - this is probably the place for you - as is the whole, beautiful area"
