"We checked in Friday afternoon went out Saturday morning got back Saturday night to find out there was no water the pump went in the well I called the owner Sunday morning and told him about it he apologized many times he also refunded half my money back within a few minutes the care taker had a couple of big jugs of water for me so I was able to stay until Monday morning it’s a nice place and if i had to rate the owner I would give him a 10 out of 10"

"The property is beautiful and very peaceful! It is incredibly private and away from everything. We especially loved using the hot tub and the kayaks. We are missing the view and the peacefulness already! The house and exterior is very well designed to fit the setting.The bed is comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. "The place is good, and we had a good time in the area. The place is not right on the beach--it is about a 200 meter walk through the woods. The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas. "The property had an amazing view. It had both indoor and outdoor furniture to make it relaxing. The only problem was how hot it was inside with no air conditioning. The big windows allow for a great view but also let in full sun during the whole day. Open windows and fans helped but only in the evenings. and no air conditioning"

"Nice log cottage sitting on Diana Mountain with a nice view of Bras d’Or Lake. The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. If you are planning on taking in a lot of the sights of Cape Breton Island then plan on a lot of driving."

"The home was very clean and has beautiful views from every window. Especially the large front windows overlooking the lake. The deck is large and has plenty of room to enjoy meals and coffee in the morning with panoramic lake views and passing sail boats. "This is a very nice place to stay. If eating at the hotel choose the “pub” side of the dining room. The menu includes all the items from the “fine dining” side and even more. If you choose “fine dining” you can’t order from the “pub” menu although it is the same kitchen. The meal we had on the pub side was excellent."
