"The free drink was rly good and appreciated. We were given a token for free drinks when we arrived and they were very good when we had them. We went out for a meal and came back and ordered hot chocolate and icecream. They didnt have the icecream so we ordered the chocolate fondant. We had to wait 40 mins so i spoke to the bar. They bought the fondants out completely uncooked and without the ice cream and getting a refund was dificult. The breakfast was ok but sadly there was only orange squash...

"I was extremely surprised. This was a hidden gem! I was surprised it was equipped with all amenities; kettle, toaster, microwave, dining seating as well as a 2-ring stove. A really lovely accommodation, we were taken aback. The property owner was lovely, pleasant and friendly, he really took the time to show us where everything was. We will most definitely be staying here again in the future."

"For budget London accommodation I was impressed with the Forest Gate Hotel. Pros: quiet location, easy walking distance to the tube (Olympic park 2stops away), affordable (for London prices), clean sheets, comfy bed, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee in room. Fire doors and a solid door lock. Shared toilet and showers but they are clean enough, a decent size and will good locks on the door. Staff are friendly and breakfast was simple but a bonus the next day, and was cooked fresh. Cons: it's...
