"This chalet has a lovely view of the lake and the wooded hills. A lovely view at breakfast and during the evening meal. The chalet was very well appointed with all necessary utensils. While I loved the lake, trips to Puy de Dome and Massif de Sancy were also within an hour's drive. All in all a lovely introduction to the Auvergne."

"I had not properly read that there would be no towels. We have not experienced this before. We had arrived by air so carrying those is not practical. Thankfully we were close to friends who helped us or we could not have had a shower after our long journey as there were no shops near. I wish they would be provided for other travellers like ourselves. We were told it was because of Covid but bed linen was provided and we could not understand the difference! Everything else was perfect."

"We have stayed here before and knew it was just about ok for an overnight stop, however our previous visits had been earlier in the year. On this occasion in July it was much warmer and the in room AC was almost pointless, barely any flow even on maximum and it did very little to cool the room.
