"This was a great apartment, very comfortable for the two of us, with well equipped kitchen and good appliances, also a very comfortable bed. Best of all is the private courtyard for a glass of wine at the end if the day. Nathalie, our host, lives next-door. She met us when we arrived and answered our questions. She was easily available if needed but gave us total privacy. This is a great location too, near all the sights and cafes. We would definitely stay here again. "

The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. "Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back."

"Authentic old world building. Small stone stairs with each level having a bedroom/bathroom. One of the levels was the kitchen, dining room and lounge. You must be able to walk many stairs! The place is in the heart of Bayeux. The owners only speak french, and the mother was very sweet who met us to show the place. Thank you for a lovely time!"
