"We had a wonderful week in Catherine and Gilles’s beautiful chalet. The house was spacious, very comfortable and fabulously well equipped. Our chef loved the kitchen. The cinema and swimming pool were perfect places for the children to relax after their exertions on the slopes. Sadly, at the very end of the season, the chalet was no longer ski-in, ski-out and some of the shops in the village were either closed or low on stock. However, we shall take away some extremely happy memories of our week...

"Nach anfänglicher Suche des Chalets, war der Zugang mit Gepäck sehr erschwerend. Das Chalet sieht gut aus und ist geräumig, nur die Reinlichkeit könnte besser sein. Nach erstmaligen durchsaugen,war der Aufenthalt richtig schön. Wetter gut. Schnee zufrieden."

Soirée du samedi soir autour d'un barbecue. Pour finir le dimanche par une jolie marche de 50 minutes pour atteindre l'Auberge du Coin à 1400 m pour le repas de midi . Tous les participants ont apprécié le gîte et le final à l'Auberge"

"Un bon séjour a Valmorel avec un logement tres bien situé. L'hote nous a livré un bon support pour récupérer les clés. Si le logement fut une réelle réussite, 2 points noirs de notre séjour : le cout du parking ! c'est honteux ! Nous ne reviondrons pas à Valmorel pour cette raison. Vu nulle part ailleurs. Autre sujet, plusieurs commerçants(Fromager, manége enfants, club piou piou, intersport.) vraiment désgréable..on a l'impression de déranger"

"We had a great couple of weeks, the house was lovely, the views are amazing. Allevard is a great town with plenty of choice of restaurants. WiFi in the house was a bit patchy in the bedrooms but the teenagers coped! Communications with Remi were easy and quick, we would definitely return and recommend"

"This is a nice little hotel a quick walk to old town which I like because it’s a quieter area. Parking across the street was very convenient and the hotel gives a discounted rate. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only small issue was that our floor’s hallway had a not to pleasant odor….but it didn’t affect our room so not a huge deal. Elevators are tiny but that seems to be the norm in France. "
