"This was a very unique experience. The lodging was a shipping container and we went to sleep to the sound of coqui frogs and woke up to roosters crowing. The hosts were so personable and the breakfast was amazing, probably the best we had during our entire visit to the island. They have a friendly, but excitable dog. "Our stay at Wyndham Grand Rio Mar was amazing! The resort is perfectly located between the beach and El Yunque, offering stunning views and easy access to nature. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pools were great for both kids and adults, and the beach was peaceful and beautiful. Dining on-site was delicious, and the staff made us feel truly welcome. A perfect mix of relaxation and adventure—we can’t wait to come back!"
"We had a great stay at La Villa Primavera. Plenty of space for our family to be together but not feel crowded. There is a well appointed kitchen to prepare meals for a big group. The pool was wonderful, stocked with pool toys and plenty of towels for everyone. The neighborhood is quiet, close to grocery stores and all that Luquillo offers. We would definitely visit again. "One of the best VRBO properties I have stayed at! An outstanding location for our group of 15. We had children, adults, and an infant. We went to PR for a microwedding and selected this gem in proximity to El Yunque/beaches. From start to finish, the host Angel supported us with all of our needs. The customer service exceeded expectations! Communication before hand was warm and welcoming and we were allowed to drop off luggage early so that we could explore the area without worrying about our bags. The house is absolutely incredible. All the bedrooms are dark, cool, comfortable and modern. The pool is fabulous and there is every outdoor game you can think of: cornhole, giant Jenga, connect 4, pool table, ping pong, etc. the outdoor patio with covered seating made it so easy for us to be together in shade while others swam. I loved the egg chair and sat and wrote my vows while sipping some sparkling wine at sunset. There are mango trees on the property and the kids loved gathering their breakfast. The kitchen was so well-stocked and even had an espresso maker! It was a totally glamorous house indoors and out with excellent upkeep and modern styling. Lots of attention to details in the decor.My favorite part was how hospitable the owner’s policies are. There is no big list to complete upon checkout! Parking was easy and secure and the grounds had lots of room for kids to run around safely. And, Angel found my diamond necklace and shipped it to me! Trustworthy team!!"
"The property has great views both to the east and the west of Playa Azul. The bedroom is air conditioned and if you leave the wooden front door open with the gate locked you get a great cross breeze through the common areas. I do recommend bringing electric lanterns in case of power outages. There were two while we were there, but that's a Puerto Rico problem rather than a property problem.There's a bank right outside the gate. You can get to Playa Monserrate and Los Kioskos without having to get back on to PR-3. Across PR-3 there's a supermarket, a Walgreens, McDonald's "

"The Rainforest Inn is in a class all by itself. The location is convenient to El Yunque Rainforest hikes and easy to get to.
The accommodations (and fresh-tasty breakfast) are first rate. You are asked for your coffee order conveniently before breakfast so you can enjoy a fresh cup before breakfast outside overloking the lush vegetation and the Atlantic.
The owners greet you when you arrive with a tasty welcoming drink and get yoi settled in.
A wonderful, helpful staff (shout out to Diane) that is available to answer questions, help with directions and just generally help you feel at home.
