"We loved La Malene and M Fages was very welcoming. The Gite is very basic, and we think could be easily made a little more comfortable. The bathroom and toilet were very small, yet there is space for example to move the doors and make the shower bigger to avoid hitting the tap and being scalded. "The house was perfect for us, it was superbly clean with very comfortable beds and can easily sleep 5 people. It has a very well equipped kitchen and a lot of character. It is situated right next to all the restaurants, shops and the beautiful river with all its attractions and activities is just a stonethrow away. Eric, the owner, looked after us very well. We absolutely loved every minute in La Malene and would love to come again."

Tricky to find, even with the help of some good men in St Andre de Vizines, the effort was exponentially rewarded. Of our 1800+ kilometer drive to visit alps, a bridge, a cave, and a city of lights, our stay in St. Andre keeps emerging as a true highlight."

"This old stone house is built up against a cliff in the Tarn River Gorge, a place of exceptional beauty. We stayed in early spring and enjoyed the fresh greenery, bird songs and the occasional fox sighting. It's very secluded yet convenient to town and exploring the area. "The property is located in a beautiful village and backs onto a walkway along a river which can take you into the town. The property is furnished to a high standard and has everything you need.
