"The location is excellent- walkable to the main tourist attractions, 5 min walk to the trains. Staff were very welcoming, the 24 hr coffee and hot cocoa were delicious! There is washing machines and dryers in the basement for a fee- 5 euros to wash, 4 euros to dry. The reason I won’t go back is it’s very expensive "

"The air conditioning would not turn on, there was no fan & the windows would not open for fire safety reasons. This was on the 6th or 7th floor with heat rising made it unbearable. I would never stay here again due to it being ridiculously hot at 23:00. The staff was very kind & understanding & gave me a fan from the managers desk at 2315. I shouldn’t have to complain about this. "

"What can I say. I stayed at a Citizen in London and wow! This place is great, staff was all smiles, friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the room very clean and quiet, nice restaurant, too! Train station 3 min walk, restaurants, stores, the river and just easily accessible to just about anywhere."

Fantastic hotel and location

"This is hands down the best location you could ever hope for, directly next to the Seine river and within walking distance to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the subway lines, and much much more. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the rooms were - we booked the apartment with a living room (fold out couch) and bedroom for our family of 4, and it was more than enough space for all of us to sprawl out. Having a split bathroom meant people could take a shower and also use the bathroom at the same time without having to wait. Free coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the lobby at all times was amazing, and the water infused with mint and lemon was so yummy! They even had a plate of chocolate croissants set out one afternoon. The front desk staff are incredible. This is now our go-to spot for Paris."

"This hotel was perfect for my solo trip to Paris. It was a short walk from the Bastille Metro stop (and near other Metro and bus stops). It was not fancy, but comfortable. My bed was comfy, the tall windows opened to let in fresh air, the heat was perfect - and the hotel was totally quiet! It is on a quiet street between two busy streets - and I heard no noise. Not even from fellow guests! The breakfast was adequate - no fresh fruit, but basically fine and very convenient. Staff was great. Everyone I asked help from - I don't speak French - was super nice. Housekeeping was excellent. A bath lover should request a room with a tub. I had a huge soaking tub - like a spa! A real treat at the end of the day. And the room had a fridge and a teakettle - much appreciated. In short, a great choice near the most picturesque streets of the Marais. "
