Property not ready
Arrived in La Rochelle and went to supermarket to collect a few items before arriving at property.
I had received a message from the owner with attachments I couldn’t open . After translating message I rand the contact.
The person on the other end of the call then explained the property was not ready and still dirty from previous occupancy.
I explained we are collect groceries and would be at least 30 minutes .
We arrived after 1630 , confusing set up as you have to find the bike rack - attached to that is a key lock with apartment keys .
No real explanation as to what apartment was ours - again I had to ring the contact -
Arrived at apartment the cleaner still there .
It took him another hour to have the place in some order .
My wife and I had make our own bed , dry the dishes and out them away .
No toilet roll in toilet .
Apartment needs a make over - bathroom needs updating, shower needs to be updated .
Air conditioning is a must and Wi-Fi is required in a modern world.
No welcoming gift or a few local products left to make you feel welcome.
On a positive- great size apartment- great location and La Rochelle is a stunning and welcoming city - we loved it and would like to go back sometime
