"This old building has been converted to an attractive and comfortable gite, with excellent views from the garden. It's a long way up the hill so quite cool. Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. Cleaning, bedlinen and towels are extra."

"We really enjoyed our 2weeks here. The morning sunrises were amazing! Loved having the space to spread out, it is quite a hill to walk up on the way back from town but we got used to it and helped our fitness! The town has so much to see and again we loved being able to see the 3 major icons from our house. Just be aware it has stairs(15 steps to first level and 15 to top level, very squeaky too ha! ) was fine for us but incase u r older or impaired could be an issue."

"We stayed here during the heatwave that was crossing Europe. A little worried about this, in fact there was no need. The pool was perfect and no problem with it not being heated. The villa was wonderfully airy and you could get a great breeze running through it. We had a problem with a door at one point but our hosts got someone in to fix it immediately. You are 5 minutes from the local intermarche so getting provisions was dead easy. Was a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend"

"Cela pourrait s'appeler "la petite maison au bout du chemin" avec son portail bleu, sa cour verdoyante en balcon sur les monts environnants et la ferme en pierre restaurée dans le respect de l'original. Idéal pour visiter les nombreux sites alentours et une maison au confort contemporain pour profiter de la douceur du lieu. "The property is one of 4 gites on the site but at no point did this feel intrusive. the terrace had the most wonderful view that over looked the Ardeche mountains. The property was finished to a high standard with all the ammenities to prepare your own food. bed was large and comfortable and very nice modern shower. Andrea as the host was amazing, so helpful and couldn't do more. she was there when you needed her and dealt with issues quickly. she went above and beyond for us and really helped...

For the savings, I would probably stay in the budget Ibis again because it had everything I needed and it was right across from the train station.
