"Based on the pictures you would think this was a simple but very nice home. However, once we checked in, just from the outside you could tell it has not been kept up. The deck is worn and weeds and trees are growing along side it. Inside, there were numerous things wrong, including a strong smell of cat pee that was in the hallway and got stronger in the bedroom. I let the owner know and she said she would have the cleaning crew check it out. However, it was clear that the countertops had not...

"This well-appointed, clean, comfortable house was perfect for our week in LaSalle, IL...And less than 15 min. drive to both parks! Elaine has provided many amenities and it was a treat to return from long hiking days to a home with plenty of task lighting, good water pressure, plenty of hot water, and comfy furniture. We cooked two meals and had every kitchen item we needed. We also enjoyed spending time in the town of LaSalle which has a lot of history. I would definitely stay at this home...

"Charming, Cozy bungalow in LaSalle close to state parks. Very clean and well-appointed . The owner provided dog treats, dishes and a toy as we were traveling with our dog. There is a small game room with foosball, darts, games, books and toys for children as well. I wish we could have stayed longer! "
