"John & Dianne were utterly lovely and made every effort for us. The listing is very clear and if you're looking for peace and quiet in a serene valley, you couldn't do better. The track should be driven with care but after the first time accompanied by John, it's not too bad. I wouldn't bring a car with low clearance though. "Stayed here for 14 days. Generous space with lots of room for multiple guests. We didn't realize the villa was two separate units. This was unexpected as we thought there would be a central indoor staircase. We made it work but we did feel separate from each other. Eduardo brought us lovely treats from a local bakery a couple of times which was very kind. You definitely need a vehicle to stay here. While it says there are a few things in walking distance we felt the car was necessary....

Our whole family were delighted by the swifts, starlings and kestrels nesting at the property, my parents described the place as simply magical. "The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"

"I want to move into this villa. It was amazing from start to finish with only one or two minor issues. The location was perfect for visiting nearby towns and wineries. The American style coffee maker was ancient and it took over an hour to brew a cup of coffee. Once we cleaned it with vinegar it worked a lot better. Sadly we did not use the pool due to the weather. I definitely would return to this villa. "
