"The property was bigger than anticipated with plenty of room for all of us. The pool was a huge bonus if a little cold on cloudy days. There was everything we needed in the villa including a push bike! The villa is well placed in the centre of the DD day beaches and memorials which were very moving to visit. Port en Bissen is delightful with a market every Sunday. The only negative was the dusty surfaces. Maybe it had been a while since anyone stayed. plus the pillows, maybe 2 per person as they...

"We used the base for touring the Normany area. The accommodation was Peacefu l and in lovely location. Ample space for a group of 3. Facilities were very good with excellent facilities for self catering Few areas that need improving though. Beds are extremely low and need to be upgraded. We felt The tv media systems need upgrading as well. We had a brilliant time here and Camille was very helpful. Just a few minor touches needed. catering"

"No meet& Greet. Just collect key in Bayeux and drop off in Bayeux on completion. Very inconvenient. The property description made no ref. to the living accom. being at 1st floor level up what can only be described at best as an extremely demanding staircase up which, on arrival we had somehow to drag our luggage and at the end of our holiday get our cases down. Three level changes as soon as you opened the entrance door! Toilet and bathroom facilities are at ground floor level so you can imagine...

Clean accommodation and a lovely property, ideal for our base for travelling to Bayeux , Caen, etc. Christophe very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. "The Country House came "as advertised". A great place to stay for our party of six adults. Very comfortable, very well equipped and in a great "country" location. Additionally, the owners (Jerome and Veronique) were excellent to communicate with and also left us with breakfast at our door on the first morning of our stay . . . tres bien indeed. Plenty of private space and bathrooms to accommodate and the kitchen dining and sitting areas were great for all of us to hang out after the day’s activities! Enjoyed the d day sites but also the quaint villages and seaside towns including port en bessin. Make sure to also go to Bayeux to visit a really amazing city and maybe catch the farmers market!
