"This is in a retirement complex within walking distance (1km) of the centre of Lisieux. The room we had was good, with a kitchen with Hob and microwave and a dining area. At the weekend the access to the building is by key code and the reception is not manned all the time. Very quiet. The set up seems quite surreal, but actually works well."

"Maddie (the owner)was there if required and very helpful. Well equipped and quiet place to stay. If you have children there is a vast amount od toys and a toy shed. There are chickens at the end of the garden and love to be fed any scraps you have left. The garden is well kept and very pleasant. I give it 5 stars."

"This was an overnight stop en route south. It's a convenient stop from the Le Havre ferry. The location was difficult to find, possibly because we mixed up 2 similar street names in the sat nav. Very good to find a simple restaurant with reasonable food after a day travelling. The only bad point was that we were put into a disabled room where the shower was somewhat strange. Also, the air conditioning did not work, so it was hot. The windows were sealed."
