Love this little place. Not high end, but comfortable and great breakfast

Le Cinq Was A Nice Hotel. Had A Few Issues Though. The Food At The Restaurant Was Not Good,Ordered Some Salmon To Only Find Out It Was Raw Salmon. Tried to send it back and they wouldn’t refund it. Manager told me to “know what I’m ordering before I order it”. Others where checked up on and food was served to them before us and we was there first. I believe it was cause we were Americans. 2nd the room was nice I paid for a Valentine’s Day decoration for the room in my opinion it was nice but not worth the price they asked for to do it it was kinda half way done. The TV had the wrong name on it it was a different couple that kinda killed the mood. The bathroom shower drains really slow if you take long showers it will spill out to the middle of the floor. Overall the Le Cinq was just okay. They need to tidy up on a few things to be considered 4-5 star hotel

Un bon hotel à quelques pas de la place des Vosges. Idéalement situé dans une rue très peu passagère, l'établissement est très calme et le personnel d'une exceptionnelle gentillesse. La chambre était relativement petite et la decoration un peu "à l'acienne" mais des renovations seraient en cours car , il est vrai, l'équipement de la chambre était un peu défraichi. Le petit dejeuner est varié et de qualité, et le cadre simplement magnifique. Lors du check-out nous avons eu la possibilité de laisser nos bagages au lobby pour une dernière promenade avant de repartir. Pour moi les gros atouts sont l'emplacement et le calme. Je reviendrais sans hésiter.

The hotel has soooo much potential, and yet for us it didn't live up to the mark. Its location is exemplary- next to Louvre, Samaritan, pont neuf, latin quarter, Rue de Rivoli- oh I could go on! It was clean. Here is where it failed, and I do hope that they think on this: Small hotel. Small, dark room- we booked a triple since we were three, and the room had zero view, a little light from the windows, and saddest, dark bathroom. The shower was never aligned correctly, and the bathroom steamed up even with the window open. I saw slippers were in the housekeeping caddy but we didn't receive a single one- not sure if this 4 star material? Rather cold staff for the most part- they were to the point, sometimes curt and moody, sometimes ( depended on who sat at the front) smiling. We did get help for ride to airport, but honestly that's part of the bare minimum service. Evening/ afternoon staff is better, smiling. Sometimes we got directions, and recommendations, but never a conversation, or a dialogue, or even the slightest curiosity. I would suggest that this become a part of the experience. The reception is small- you cannot sit and relax there, so maybe music needs to replace that cold atmosphere. Our room was tiny so we didn't even have much choice:( We just didn't feel super welcome. It felt transactional. There is a water jar and paper cups at the reception, a coffee machine we didn't use, and croissants- 2 in a jar that appear after breakfast ( probably left overs).

Great hotel and very helpful staff.I will definitely stay here again !
