"Manoir Chamberland is a real gem of a place. Just 90 minutes away from Ottawa, it was the perfect staycation escape for me and my wife for a couple of days. The lazy elegance of Montobello is captured beautifully in this renovated heritage hotel by Dominique and Ross. The hotel is beautiful inside and out with designer appointments. The gardens are beautiful. We went in spring so could not enjoy the pool but pool side dining seemed inviting. The best part of our stay was a three course breakfast. It was as unique as it was delicious. Ross and Dominque made the whole experience very relaxing and memorable for us. We will definitely visit again. "

"Chateau Montebello is a must-see, must-stay, one-of-a-kind hotel built entirely of logs. The central 6-sided fireplace is entrancing, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff was pleasant. We hope to be back again some day."

"Everything was perfect. It's cozy, yet airy and light. If you're four people, bring masks for those who sleep in the sun room. It gets wonderfully bright. Also, bring extra wood. If it's chilly, and you want an outdoor fire, the sauna, and indoor fire, you wouldn't have enough. But otherwise this property is fantastic. The snow melt made the little falls quite quick and loud, but it was gorgeous. I'll definitely go back in the summer. I highly recommend it!"

"Our stay was AMAZING. The cottage was beautiful and clean and the attention to details and the thought put in to the guests stay was truly noticeable throughout. Owner was very easy to talk to and available when we had a couple of questions. The kitchen was amazing; we cooked to our hearts content. The wood burning fireplace was cozy and perfect. Overall a wonderful experience and we cannot wait to return!"

"Had a good time staying at this cabin. It was quaint and cozy. Nice trails nearby for hiking and snowshoeing and a short drive to a cafe. It is, however, right next to a snowmobile trail, so if you like to sleep-in, it may get noisy. Thankfully we are early risers so it wasn't an issue. I'd definitely stay again, and considering booking again in the summer months "
