"We picked this house for a family reunion and to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday. We couldn't have chosen anything better. The house itself is lovely with 5 good bedrooms, a spacious dining room and plenty of outside seating on the terrace. The best feature though is the garden, secure for kids and the family dog and absolutely massive. As per description the kitchen is small, but in combination with the conservatory it worked fine. We used it as a base to travel the area, going as far away as Baden Baden, Switzerland and closer to Strasbourg and Colmar. Great hotel in historic town

"This is a fantastic old building with so much character. It's unlike anywhere we've stayed before, in an historic old town. Very clean, a huge comfy bed and a massive shower area. Powerful, hot water and all toiletries supplied. The staff are lovely. We had two small dogs and we were allowed to take them into the breakfast room where there was a great selection of fresh foods."
