"This hotel is the place you want to stay at. It is outside of Reykjavik by 12 min, by taxi 20 min by public bus. The hotel is wonderfully themed with a great restaurant next to it. "The hotel worked perfectly for what we needed. The lobby was not very big and the dining area closed a little early, which shut down our game nights, but overall it was good. "Our stay at this hotel over New year was nothing but a pleasure, from the minute we stepped into the hotel to the minute we left we were always welcomed. We even seen the northern lights on NYE! Breakfast was lovely and the family room we had was big and spacious. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has lots of places to get food within a 2 minute walk along with 2 supermarkets. "Everything was great about this property location. A Supermarket across the road, several cafes nearby and a next level Domino’s Pizza. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was waiting an additional 45 minutes after we arrived at 3.15pm (check in was 3pm) to be able to access the room, we were absolutely tired after travelling all night and touring during the day. "The room was not cleaned, old towels were hanging, there was no linen in one of the beds. We booked for 10 people, but there were actually 8 seats. The staff was arrogant, no one helped.The location was close to the beach, 10 minutes walk, but the house was somewhere behind the warehouse."
