Located on the cliff top of Porto de Mos, this stunning first floor apartment has endless uninterrupted sea views, set in a peaceful area on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Lagos. This recently built property is furnished to an exceptionally high standard with a modern yet eminently comfortable style and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. It is fully air conditioned with all modern facilities and a very large south facing terrace for sun bathing and outdoor dining. The complex has a gym, jacuzzi spa, sauna and heated indoor swimming pool (26C) There is a beautiful feature outdoor pool situated amongst landscaped sub tropical gardens overlooking the sea.

We can accommodate couples or larger families as we have 2 apartments. The apartment has fibre broadband internet access and all UK TV channels including Sky sports & movies.

Outside: The shared outdoor swimming pool overlooks beautiful sub tropical gardens as well as the ocean. Comfortable terrace seating & fully reclining sunbeds are provided as well as additional poolside sun beds. Full use of the equipped Gym, heated Indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna are also included. Weekly Cleaning / maid service & all Towels & Linen including pool towels are provided.

The stunning beach is only 5 minutes walk away as well as two wonderful beach front restaurants. A few minutes in the car or by local bus you are in the centre of the historic town of Lagos with its maze of cobbled streets and colourful market square offering a large variety of restaurants, bars, cafés, shopping and markets. Or stroll along the promenade to the Marina complex and admire the luxury yachts whilst relaxing with a drink over lunch at one of the many marina bars or restaurants.

Great for watersports enthusiasts : boat hire, sailing, surfing, skiing, paddle boarding, fishing & wakeboarding all nearby.

Lagos is a really lovely resort surrounded by numerous beautiful sandy beaches & hidden coves, and has a modern Marina, and an historic old walled town centre. The town centre itself has cobbled streets free of traffic with literally hundreds of street cafes and bars, and numerous quality shops many selling local crafts. In the evening the town is bustling & vibrant with atmospheric street cafes and a variety of small market stalls and live entertainment.

Lagos beach has been voted by Conde Nast traveller magazine as 'the best beach in the world! ' As well as stunning beaches..... a lively old town crammed with restaurants, bars and classy gift shops...... there are also Fishing boat trips , sailing sightseeing trips & dolphin watching trips of which can all be taken from the marina. Numerous quality golf courses are close by & a choice of two modern water parks are within easy reach for a day trip. The town of Portimao is only 15 minutes away by car and also has some stunning large sandy beaches with a long board walk at the rear of the beach with many beach bars. Portimao also has a brand new shopping mall and a large retail outlet park. Inland from the coast, North of Lagos, the terrain rises toward the mountainous area of Monchique with its natural spas and lush green countryside.

The climate here is just beautiful with day long sunshine typical from March right through to October and even in the remaining months, warm sunny days are the norm.

Fabulous property with amazing views
The property was faultless. Beautiful, well equipped, comfortable with the most amazing views. Local beach is gorgeous too with lovely restaurants and beach bar. We didn’t hire a car but with hind sight wish we had. We ate out every night in town at the plentiful restaurants and an über cost around 4.5 euros each way. It took about half an hour to walk into town where the supermarket was and so this also required an Uber back. Gym was good but we didn’t use the indoor pool or sauna. Our hosts organised the transfer to and from the airport which was really helpful. Plenty of parking outside the property if you do hire a car. We loved the apartment and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. ❤️😁

Spectacular Location!!!
Just finished our one-week stay at Alex’ spectacular ocean view condo at Porto du Mos, Lagos. The online photos are EXACTLY what you’ll get! The oceanfront views from the unit’s double-sized terrace are absolutely breathtaking!! We went to several beaches during our stay and Porto du Mos, a few minutes walk from the unit, was our favorite! You DEFINITELY won’t go wrong choosing this gem!!

This property was as lovely as it appeared online and immaculately clean. The views of the ocean and coastal cliffs from the terrace were incredible! The location was perfect. We could walk to a beautiful beach, restaurants and even to town. Lagos is a charming location and a great base for exploring the Algarve. Maria was so helpful with everything! Highly recommend!

The only things that kept it from complete 5 star rating was out of owners hands. Cool temp of indoor pool & “hot tub”. Noise from adjacent units. Floor of balcony could be kept cleaner. Sauna didn’t work on a couple visits. Unparalleled views of ocean, trails and cliffs. Easy walk to beach with a couple nice restaurants. Grounds and property meticulously manicured & maintained.

Divine!
What an extraordinary place if you are looking for serenity! The simple walk on the ocean defines the whole trip. Easy access to grocery stores and downtown Lagos. I would love to go back during summer to spend more time in the Algarve region.

The apartment location is great with ocean view and walking distance to a long beautiful beach. The apartment is very clean and spacious for a family of four. My only feedback is to provide extra towels and paper rolls. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely Lagos Retreat
We had the perfect 4 night stay here. After exploring Lisboa, Porto, and beyond, this 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condo offered everything we could want for a seaside break. The complex has easy parking, indoor / outdoor pool, hot tub / sauna, gym, and more. It is right next to the trailhead to the hike along the bluffs. The sea views from the condo were mesmerizing. We could have stayed there for a month! Obrigada.

A Beauty in Lagos
Great unit - clean, large, nice balcony. Easy in and out. Parking right out front. A few restaurants to walk to, rest would require Uber or car. Highly recommend this property - you won’t regret it.

Excellent Lagos Experience
This property , location and amenities were all excellent. Breathtaking views off outside deck of of Pria de Mos beach , sunrise and sunsets. Walking paths along cliffs overlooking the beach and surf. This property was outfitted with everything we needed. Indoor and outdoor pools , jacuzzi and sauna were used daily. Great experience. Definitely looking to rent this property again in the future.

Wonderful intro to Portugal
We had been dreaming of a trip to Portugal for years and we finally did it. Our stay in Lagos was a highlight, we enjoyed the location on the coast , great views, and not far from center of city. Excellent Stay
I stayed at Alex’s apartment for a week. We had the perfect stay. It was more than we could of ever expected. I stayed with my family which included 3 children. It was such a safe environment for them all. In a secure complex with fantastic amenities. Waking up to the sea view every morning made it such a relaxing stay. To make it more perfect. I would recommend hiring a car, just to make it easier to pop to the local shops. I would definitely recommend this apartment to all my friends and family.X

Summer 2022
We stayed in the upper floor Ocean View apartment for a 2 week stay early July 2022. Communication from booking to arrival was excellent and we were met at the apartment on arrival to be shown around. The apartment is just as described on the website and the view is breathtaking.. The patio is large with loungers and a settee, and we enjoyed eating breakfast watching the boats go by or sunbathing reading a book. The Wifi and air conditioning is good and my family enjoyed the premium TV channels, particular Sky Sports and Formula 1. We went on a walk along the cliff edge and also down to the beach which is only about 10 mins walk, although a bit steep in places, so we walked back on the road. There are 2 good restaurants on the beach (Campimar and Antonio’s) and we had breakfast at Campimar a few times. The pool area and gardens are very nice and it’s good that you have allocated sun loungers, although the addition of an umbrella would be beneficial as there is very little shade around the pool. As we had an upper floor apartment we needed to get the lift and walk through the fitness centre to access the pool area which wasn’t a problem however, as Alex has an identical ground floor apartment If you are visiting with younger children I would recommend the ground floor so that you have access directly into the garden/pool area. In summary I throughly enjoyed our stay in Ocean view apartments and would recommend it if you want to stay in a quiet area yet within a short drive into Lagos town centre.

What a stunning place!
Nothing was too much trouble would be my overall review - pre trip and on arrival Sam and her colleague were so helpful both with practical help and local knowledge. The apartment is fabulous with all mod cons, 5 mins walk to the Port de Mos beach and 5 mins Uber to Lagos. For myself and my family it was the perfect location - access to a characterful buzzing town when we wanted and utter tranquility when we didn’t- the pool and gardens and that view were beautiful. We will be back.

Ocean View Apartments at Porto do Mos March 2022
As numerous reviewers have stated, this is a beautiful apartment with spectacular views of the ocean, manicured gardens and pools. We spent 3 weeks in March here in between Covid 19 waves. The apartment was comfortable, spacious, well stocked and so clean with weekly cleaning included. Communication with both the owner and property manager was always quick and helpful. We had no complaints inside but the weather outside was quite unpredictable. It was alternating cold and stormy then sunny and mild. We even had the Sahara sand storm one day! Still better than ice and snow at home. We loved the location, away from downtown but a quick drive to multiple grocery stores and numerous restaurants (esp. Oliva for pizza, Maria Petisca for daily specials). On nice days we enjoyed old town wandering in Lagos, Luz, Burgau and Carvoeiro. On lazy days we found the ever-present hikers along the Fisherman’s Trail and parasailors overhead on weekends fun to watch from the lounge chairs on the patio. BUT… The indoor “heated”pool was a disappointment for us. Busy children might enjoy a splash in the cold water but seniors need warmer temps to avoid cramps and handrails for safe entry. Certainly not enough reason to keep us away from a repeat visit to Lagos and this lovely rental property in particular.

What a great apartment, amenities, location, service etc! Clare met us to help with the check in process. She was super sweet and informative. Not to mention very attentive to anything we needed. We loved our stay! I will definitely be back and will rent with them again. What a lovely and comfortable home. And the view....wow! Made my morning each day. Our kids loved it and it was just overall very comfortable!

Trip of a lifetime!
We stayed for a week at this gorgeous condo and it was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The views, the cleanliness, and the location are superb. Sonia, the property manager, ensured our stay was spectacular. We felt at ease and truly on vacation from the moment she greeted us and gave us a tour of the amenities. To top it all off, my boyfriend proposed on the trip and she surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a handwritten card as a celebration gift! We can not rave enough about the excellent level of hospitality Sonia provides to her guests and the 5 star quality of the condo. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful views and spacious villa
Lovely villa which is very well equipped and amazing views. We stayed for two weeks with our two daughters age 11 and 9. They loved the pool although the outdoor pool was a bit chilly and they made lots of friends with the other holiday makers. Sonia, our property manager couldn’t have been more helpful and dealt with everything and more. The local beach bars are amazing and the beach is beautiful. Would definitely recommend as well as the canoe trip to the grottoes and dolphin watching.

Lovely apartment in a good location with beautiful sea view. Very impressed by the spacious balcony and comfortable sun loungers. Very comfortable beds and stylish furniture. Only a short walk downhill to one of the best beaches in Lagos and direct access to the cliff path .
