Fabulous ground level condo with all the luxuries of home. This spacious studio suite (unit #119) is elegantly furnished with beautiful island décor. Royal Kahana 119 has a private lanai with a spectacular ocean view, a fully appointed/state of the art kitchen with granite counters, and a beautiful tiled bathroom with a shower. The kitchen has a coffee pot, blender, dishes and all the cookware you need to make a gourmet meal. You can enjoy your meal on your lanai or in your dining room while watching the sunset and listening to the waves crash against the shore. There is an additional sofa sleeper bed in the unit that folds out into a queen size bed. The condo is perfect for 4 people.

The resort offers a heated swimming pool, shuffle board, a fitness center, an activities desk, and WI-FI. From December through April, you can watch the whales breach as you stroll along the ocean.

*Note: Based on oceanic and environmental conditions, we cannot predict the amount of beach available at the resort, or the access to it. Sometimes there is beach and sometimes there isn't. This is an ocean front resort on a volcanic island.

The Royal Kahana is one of the highest demanded resorts on Maui. The location is prime and close to all the places you want to visit while here. Just a short drive away to our islands best beaches, most popular luaus, Honolua Bay Marine Reserve, surfing, restaurants and shopping!

r handle was barely working and then stopped working mid stay (you fixed this when I brought it to your attention thank you). The shower head could probably be replaced. The spray from the shower ends up outside of the shower onto the bathroom floor and the wood trim on the walls. The flooring directly in front of the toilet has a large gap in it. The curtain rod connection in the middle is not properly secured. Garbage from who knows where is right outside the sliding doors and seems to act like a collection point (we thought maybe someone from the “resort” cleans that area not sure), at night we can hear all the trash moving around in the area of the lanai that is attached to this unit. There is visible food splatter on the side of the fridge. The kitchen seems well stocked with the exception on a spatula

We received a welcome gift of waters and chips for two. The white bath, linens and toiletries were new. It’s a convenient location in a safe area. My children and I fully enjoyed our stay in Maui. There were a few issues that weren’t handled well by the property manager, such as finding critter poop on the hand towel, bedside table, and bedsheet; sand on the bedspread and sheets; and a sofa bed could not unfold for the third guest. I spent part of my vacation time washing all the towels, sheets, pillowcases, and blankets. I like cleanliness, and this did not make the grade.

Perfect spot for an escape
Loved this unit. Being able to walk out to the pool was amazing and we were surprised as the beach was accessible. Saw whales and turtles there every day. Location was great with basic groceries and restaurants walking distance. Room had great amenities. Beach towels and a cooler provided made it easy for beach days. Free coffee in the mornings in the lobby, which was nice. Only small issue was with the patio door closed there was a wind tunnel that we couldn't get to stop whistling no matter what we tried. Lots of other people's trash also ended up on our patio from the wind as well.

This was a very clean comfortable unit which was quiet because it's at the end of the hall. The location is great. I loved having a washer and dryer in the unit as well. Bed was clean with mattress protector and crisp white sheets, and nice mattress.

The property was in great shape. Bottom level so you can walk straight to the pool and back in your own door. The closest beach access walking is about 6-8 minutes, this resort does not have beach access. Comfortable bed and room.

Royal Kahana unit 119 👍🏽
Unit was small but had almost everything we needed. We had AC and fan going 24/7 for cooler indoor temps. Outdoor lanai was pretty but all garbage carried by wind will pool on this lanai. Easy access to the heated pool, but NO access to beachfront, as it has eroded away over time and has been cordoned off. Unit Owner would not budge on a late checkout, which truly spoiled ending our trip on a high note - you can leave your baggage at the front desk, which is kind of the resort to do. My major qualm is, if flights do not arrive until LATE, then a late checkout should be considered for those who have a LATE departure - you end up paying for place that you do not get your moneys worth. A real shame the Unit Owner was not understanding of this.

Amazing place to stay!
The place was very clean, and the upgrades/decor were on point! Great island vibe, and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in (including my own)! The kitchen and bath were reasonably stocked (check with owner ahead of time if there are specific things you need). My only suggestion Would be portable chairs for the beach and maybe a cooler. But wasn’t an issue for our stay. The location was perfect as well! The complex is within walking distance to lots of shops - and the condo is close to the pool and beach but also private. We loved our Maui vacation spot!
