"I think this may have been my favorite out of all the hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms were very modern, but charming, and impeccably clean. Best of all, the beds were very very comfortable (something you rarely find while traveling, so it seemed like an extra nice surprise). We all slept great here. "Amazing hotel. Renovated modern within the old building. Sitting on the castle grounds but hot within the castle walls. Easy access to the city center and the castle itself, which is amazing. For those who want to explore the surroundings, Weilburg and its castle is close by, the Kubacher Tropfsteinhoehle is a great attraction during the summer and all is close from this hotel. "When you book the “comfort apartment”that sleeps 5 you realize when you check in that there is only 1 bedroom with not a king size bed but a queen, the other beds are the couch in the living room and 2 roll out cots that have to go in the living room or kitchen too - very uncomfortable. No black out drapes like advertised. In fact some of the windows don’t even have any kind of covering and are cracked. "We spend 2 nights (Friday - Sunday). Hotel is typically occupied Monday - Friday so there is nobody at the desk. You are given a code to retrieve keys to your room via email. Room was very nice and clean … desk had a refridgerator stocked with beverages… surrounding area was very quiet … small town feel!!! Breakfast was also very good with a nice variety!!! I can highly recommend this hotel!!!"

"While the place was clean and conveniently located to where I had to be, it lacked: 1. An elevator 2. I was asked for payment both at check in and check out, even though I had prepaid via Expedia before arriving at this hotel. 3. I was given a room in the attic, and with my height of 1.77m, it was quite challenging to take showers right under the sloped ceiling. 4. Hotel didn’t have parking so it was a chore to find an available spot where to load and unload the luggage. "

"This is a Pension, not a hotel… off the beaten track but nice staff and nice food. I believe it is underpriced at this price and if people went there they would be able to finish the renovations. If you want a nice German week end this is the place. "
