"The eco village is tucked away in the private nature reserve. Wonderful views of springboks as you drive to the eco village on the grounds. Rooms were clean and modern, exceptionally comfortable bed. We will welcomed upon arrival with a glass of port - nice touch. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional, tasty food especially the rack of lamb. Stargazing with Eben was an exciting and unique experience. Will stay here again."

"Loved our stay at Aquila! We stayed in the family room which was very spacious & had a patio area outside. All the food was lovely with a big selection from the buffet. We had African wood massages in the spa and used their facilities which were lovely. The grounds are big and spacious and you can sometimes see animals from your windows But of course the best bit were the safaris, we loved the drives seeing all the animals in the reserve my mum also swapped one of the drives for a horse riding...

"We stayed here for one night en route to the wine area. Great place to break our journey after driving from Prince Albert, via Swartberg Pass and Cango Caves. "Our biggest disappointment was the swimming pool and the area around it. It was the main reason we booked Karoo Life Bed & Breakfast. We really wanted to be able to spend time around the pool relaxing during the very hot days we were visiting. The pool was dirty and not cleaned once during our 3 night stay. The Kreepy Krauly pool cleanser hose was also left in the pool the entire time we were there which made it impossible to swim across the pool. It also wasn't working. The pool looks nothing...
