Chateau Bernina is the perfect mountain getaway for large families and medium to large groups. This open and spacious house has five bedrooms with a loft and five and a half baths that can sleep 12 people comfortably. The large A-framed central floor includes the family room with stone fireplace, 65” big screen TV and comfortable cloth reclining couches, which you will doze off in. A billiard room with leather couches and a fireplace. The indoor spa room is equipped with a large 10 person spa, dry sauna, and full bathroom that can make any persons rough week just melt away. The kitchen can accommodate a large dinner party with plenty of seating. Outside dining and entertaining on the deck is readily accommodated with a table on the upper deck/ chairs / umbrellas and a gas BBQ.

Two skylights in the ceiling graces the Master Suite with a king bed, stone fireplace, vanity and TV. Our other bedrooms include queen beds, and a loft for the kids to play. Other amenities include: high speed internet access, TVs with Roku players, YoutubeTV, book library, board/card games, central vacuum, Heating and cooling, washer & dryer, and much more.

Chateau Bernina is a very pleasant and inviting large home with everything you’ll need for a relaxing vacation in the mountains. Snowboarding/skiing is available during the winter season. Come stay for a week, weekend, or longer.

Our retreat is ideal for executive or large family retreats in this beautiful home located close to the Blue Jay and Arrowhead Village.

Great place for a growing family!

The property is even bigger than imagined, with so much space for all members of our family to be at all times. The area is nice and close to local grocery stores and the lake. Will definitely be booking again when we return to lake arrowhead for Xmas in a couple years!

Great stay for young & old

The location is in a quiet friendly neighborhood close to nice spots like the Mountain History Museum. Check-in was simple, the house was accessed using a number code. The pool was already prepared for us and the barbecue grill was set up to use. Very clean house, and plenty of space for our big group including toddlers and their great-grandparent with limited mobility. Would definitely recommend and consider returning

Traditional Christmas in the mountains

We’ve stayed in Michael’s place for about 6 yrs in a row for Christmas. Love it. So mom any places for a large family to gather. Everyone loves the spa. Thank you for allowing us to book with you so regularly.

Excellent Property

We take a yearly trip with the family ( three generations) and need a big place that we can all enjoy together. Chateau Bernina was a great place for all of us to relax and enjoy quality time together, playing games and hang out. The house itself has so much available you don't even need to go anywhere to have a good time. Beautiful house, great location...a really good time. Thank you!

Wonderful Stay!

Michael is very responsive and a wonderful host! House was situated in a great location in Lake Arrowhead. It is very spacious and the indoor pool/hot tub was a big plus since we couldn't go outside because of the weather. The kitchen is very open and we cooked for the family the entire time. We all had a wonderful time and couldn't ask for a better place to create great family memories. Thank you so much Michael!

Christmas, 2023 and New Year's.

Love this place. Plenty of room to spread out You could go read a good book down stairs abd not be bothered by anyone. You could go play pool can even Go in the Jacuzzi and be all by yourself. Loved the kitchen. It had plenty of counter space to make lots of things on. We will be back again

Chateau

This is our second stay at the chateau and there are many more stays to come. We decided on our very first stay last year, that this will be our family vacation house from now on. In the past, Christmas was our only family vacation but since we found this chateau, our family decided to add a second family vacation's per year because we can’t stay away! (The Host) Micheal, is very pleasant, professional and always available. We couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to make more beautiful family memories here for years and years to come.

Family getaway

The property is beautiful. There was enough for all of us (8) people to have our own place to sleep. It was homey and beautiful. One thing though the jacquizzi wouldn’t heat up. We pushed the button more than once. All and all we had a wonderful time. Would go back and stay. Thanks Mike.

Glorious retreat

Our extended family had an absolutely wonderful stay! Our group included five adults and two children, and we had plenty of space to spread out. The hot tub and sauna were definitely the highlight, though we also loved the wood burning fireplace and recliners in the living room. The beds were all comfortable and everyone slept great. We did a lot of cooking and had all of the kitchen supplies we needed. The house is showing its age a bit, but that didn’t interfere with our stay at all. We had a bit of trouble with the Roku Tv (though we don’t use those ourselves and have no familiarity with the system). I might recommend bringing your own device and just connecting it to the TV (there are big TVs in all the rooms). Lake Arrowhead is a very easy drive, and there’s also a new Grocery Bargain Outlet right down the street. Overall, I would highly recommend this property, especially to large groups and families!

Don’t go to Lake Arrowhead and expect to use the lake

Lake Arrowhead HOA does NOT allow renters to use the Lake. Horrible experience and disrupted my family Vaca. GO TO BIG BEAR INSTEAD DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS

Awesome Stay!

We had a wonderful time at Chateau Bernina! It was even bigger than I expected from the website. The entire house was very clean. We had everything we needed for our entire stay! The kitchen is fabulous with everything you need to make large dinners. We all thoroughly enjoyed the sauna, jacuzzi and pool table. Every room had a TV with Peacock and Netflix. Lake Arrowhead was so close-- 5 minute drive. We had planned on spending all our time at the lake but honestly, once we saw the house and explored ALL the floors, no one wanted to leave it! I will absolutely stay there again!

Summer Lake Vacation 2022

We had an adventurous week exploring our local mountains. This home is a great local just minutes from the village and close to various lakes. We did day trips to Big Bear and Lake Gregory as well as enjoyed a couple of days at Lake Arrowhead. Michael was helpful in working through the new STR processes of the Arrowhead Lake Association. His home is perfectly laid out with many rooms and bathrooms and a wonderful kitchen that accommodated our large and hungry family. We enjoyed evenings playing games and cards on the deck, long walks with the dogs, and the extremely large spa (we called it a spool (spa/pool) was a big hit with the kids.
