"The price was great, proximity to Hillsdale was perfect. I did notice the bathroom door is too tight to close, and there was no shampoo in the dispenser in the shower. But linens were clean, the TV worked well, bed was comfortable, and the furnishings were nice. "

"I drive from my home in Brooklyn, NY to my home in Northern Michigan a few times a year. Usually i stay with my cousin near Lansing but this time i decided to spend the night in Brooklyn, MI. What a treat it was! The Super 8 staff was friendly and accomodating and made me feel at home during my short stay. Loved the hotel, loved the town. Ill be back for sure!"

"Property was CLEAN, well laid out, attractively decorated, and had many thoughtful touches (makeup mirror on desk, snacks and drinks available). Quiet country location. Only suggestion would be for host to get a wifi extender - the connection was in and out for apartment 1 (in a location where cell data was also spotty). "

Amazing House

"The house was a great place to stay with extended family. The boys LOVED the pool and swam non-stop. A few of the rooms are a little unique but with all the options there were still plenty of items. "

Fantastic Family Lake House

"Exceptional, had everything we could have ever needed. The second fridge, highchair, kids tableware, pack & play, grill and the spectacular view were high lites!! We loved being able to gather around the giant kitchen island everyday, and the kitchen itself had every possible tool we needed to prepare multiple meals for our large family and then some!! The four showers were very handy. Had we been staying during the summer, everyone would have loved to take advantage of the lake and all of the water sport accessories available in the garage. Highly recommend!!"

Daughters 21st birthday trip

"Sam went above and beyond without me even asking. I had mentioned it was daughter’s birthday and I was so surprised when we got here and there was a banner and balloons for my daughter. Everyone thing one would need is available. We just hung out. Had fires and door dashed food. We wanted a quiet break from our busy lives . The tree house is so cozy. I have never slept so good !! We spent out nights streaming movies for all sorts of platforms .There’s so many things to do near by, but we wanted to ‘be still’. Really relax. And that’s exactly what we did. I literally cannot say enough about Sam. I’ve been to a lot of rentals and she by far is the best host. She cooked us a home made breakfast from a menu of options, was very welcoming and kind. Provided everything we needed and more. And of course there’s good old Max ! Haha. The sweetest dog ever that will just become your dog for the stay if you give him enough lovings . He was one of our favorite parts. "

"The lake was very peaceful and gathering my family on the water was what we were looking for. The cottage itself wasn’t really what I expected, it had a musty smell when we walked in, and it was outdated. The air conditioner worked great though! "
