Rustic and homey as I would imagine a quaint ski motel. Decorated with beautiful pieces of art by local artists. Loved Beck's Tavern constructed of Yurts out back, with live music. And Beck's Tavern serves delicious German cuisine.

We liked Beck's Tavern. Right there by the lodge, and had good food. Also enjoyed the outdoor music - guitar and singing.

A nice quiet area and the owner is very friendly. A lot of work has been put into the grounds and there is a beautiful music stage at the back of the property along with a bar so you can enjoy live music in the evenings.

Great Spot. The Yurt Spot at Beck behind the motel are cooler than they let you know. If you are going to go to Gore to ski, Check this place out first!

Coziest stay in ADK

It’s the coziest room you can get that close to Gore Mountain. 8 pillows of various sizes and shapes on each bed make for a comfortable sleep. Little touches like glass bottled local water and a bag of Swedish Fish candy make this place stand apart from the competition. I’ll continue to stay there whenever I’m in the area.

Motel wasnt the most beautiful. The tiles in the bathroom needed replaceing - the thermostat had a note on it to use the mini split instead, it smelled of smoke and years gone by , but you cant beat the "mind your own business" vibe, the location, and the overall odd charm.

The hotel, or more if a motel, was situated in a convenient location to Gore Mountain and hiking trails. Beck's bar and the Yurt bars looked nice, though we didnt get an opportunity to enjoy them. The room was overall clean, but had a little bit of a musty smell. Despite that, the beds were comfortable. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.
