Amazing Quiet Vacation
This was one of the most amazing, quiet, relaxing vacations I've ever had. I really needed to unplug and get away from it all, and this place was magical. The hosts were incredibly kind and generous in answering my questions. The cabin was even nicer than what shows in the pics. The beds were super comfortable and there were soft warm throws to snuggle up in. I can't wait to come back with my husband!

Nice and peaceful setting
Nicely appointed cabin with peaceful if not remote setting. A bit of a run to get items in town and navigating a night a bit tricky, and finding the trash dump a bit of a ride. (Community should add some signage to assist) so make sure you stock up to save trips and have GPS access. All in all it was very nice place, but would definitely recommend some better lighting (track lighting) in kitchen and dining area.

Fishing trip
Friend and I stayed at the house for a fishing trip. The house fit our needs with each of us having a bedroom and there was a nice bathroom. There’s a two bedroom loft with a wooden ladder to get up to that we did not use. The house was very comfortable with two really comfy recliners in front of the TV for relaxing evenings.

Owner was very helpful
We had a great experience but we were initially under the impression that the cabin was on the river where we could fish. We found out at the last minute that the gated community didn’t allow guests to fish there.

Cozy Cabin
This was our 2nd stay. This cabin is cozy & quaint. Has everything you need. Melissa is always available for anything you may need. We spent some great time at Eleven Mile Canyon ($10 entry fee) but worth it. We caught lots of trout. There were kayaks enjoying the canyon. Rock climbers. Tons of tubing. "The great outdoors". We will return. Thanks Melissa for an enjoyable getaway.

The cabin and the location are amazing. The cabin is stocked with everything you would need for cooking. I was amazed at the selection of spices and paper goods. We spent 7 days and we traveled to other sights, hiked part of wild cat canyon and fished. It was very quite and relaxing place. The hummingbirds and a steller jay(who loves peanuts) were fun to watch. I could go on about the cabin and location but

A Hidden Gem
The cabin is quaint, peaceful and if you are looking for outdoor adventures, this is the place to be. The minute you step in the cabin, you get a mountain feel. The cabin decor is awesome. The deck is wonderful to relax and especially in the morning with the abundance of birds. The Traeger smoker was sweet. Great area to fish. Wildcat Canyon is a must. Adam and Melissa are readily available to answer any questions. It was a "little peace of heaven" family trip. We hope to return.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this cabin and we have enjoyed it every time! The cabin is in a great location for fishing/hiking. You have happy meadows fishing in one direction and wildcat canyon the other direction. Melissa responds quickly and is very helpful if you have any questions. We will definitely be staying at this cabin every year!

This little cabin is tricked out with all the amenities one could ever need, plus great access to the surrounding mountains, reservoirs and national parks. We loved it. The only draw back is that you can't actually see or hear the river from the cabin.

Fantastic remote getaway
This cabin was perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of normal life in a more remote part of CO. It is more remote because it is hard to get a reliable cell signal and it’s a decent drive from most things- which was fine by us!! The cabin has WiFi though so you can be connected if you want/need that. The South Park region just has a different old Colorado, frontier vibe than what you get near RMNP and the ski towns. What you lack in connectivity will be more than made up for in solitude and relaxation. Opportunities abound just outside the cabin door for world class trout fishing (check out Tumbling Trout fly shop and guides), beautiful uncrowded hiking trails (Wildcat Canyon especially), and wildlife viewing. It is so incredibly quiet there it is hard to describe. Sitting on the deck you really can’t hear anything other than the breeze through the pines and the chirping of birds. The cabin had everything we needed in the kitchen bathroom and bedrooms for our week long stay. The hosts have done a great job of setting up their guests for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed this cabin for our trip to the mountains.

Cabin in beautiful mountain setting with all the comforts of home…
This is our third stay at the property and we enjoyed it as much as the first two times. It is in a beautiful setting. It’s a great place to stay and relax to get away, but it is still close enough to see local sites/attractions and explore the area. The cabin is comfortable and always has everything you need, even things you didn’t know you would need. We always have great communication with hosts. The cabin is in a great location, and there are unlimited local areas to fish and hike. We always feel like it’s a home away from home and would highly recommend staying here.

DO IT!!!
My family and I had a great time here. My daughter and I went to fish and to see the trees, we live in the desert. My wife went to relax and get away for a bit. We also had two grandkids under 2. The cabin was very nice and updated. There were smart TV's in the rooms, board games, movies out the wazoo, a nice shower and all of the beds were comfortable. My daughter liked sleeping in the loft. The lounge chairs were so comfortable that my wife and I just slept in those. The cabin had everything that we needed, a few things we didn't even know we needed and then some. The wrap around deck with lounge chairs was perfect to sit out and watch the hummingbirds and take in the mountain air. The temperature never got over 70 degrees while we were there. It was a welcome break from our normal 90 degrees plus. Eleven Mile Reservoir and state park is close by and the trout fishing in Crystal Creek just down the road was fun and relaxing. We spent 4 days there and didn't come close to doing everything the area has to offer. Every question or request I had was quickly taken care of by Adam or Melissa. We will be back.
