The road became so rough I couldn't make it to the lake in my little rental car. I now understand why rental companies offer utes - to cope with the unsealed roads in places

The property and beach was beautiful. It was a couples delight and close to the trench and Lalomanu beach. The only downside as with many resorts in Samoa is the lack of places to eat. The resort was quite pricey, but really there was no other options. I would stay again but be more prepared regarding this.
