The biggest drawcard was probably the location, short walk to the town centre yet quiet and we still got to enjoy the wildlife experience with Kookaburras, kangaroos, and an echidna around the corner! "We love the unit which backs onto the reserve at the back. The view is lovely of kangaroos and emus from the back windows. The nice big dining table is good for playing games on. The only problem is the parking as we had to reverse in our cars because our unit is the back unit and the back car port is shared. If the front unit has its own car port in front then the parking problem would be solved."

"This was a bit of a strange place. Not maintained, very old, lots of things didnt work. Shower sprays in all different directions, fountain and spa are out of order, some lights didnt have light bulbs or didnt work and the furniture was out dated and the kitchen was awkward and hard to use. Overall, it was ok but I wouldnt return."

"Loved the kangaroos. A pic of them posing was literally taken into consideration when looking for a place. As other reviews stated AC was in living room. Bedroom got hot when doors closed. Bathroom was good. Plenty of beds to choose. Kitchen was welcome though we didny get to use. We we disappointed we didnt get to stick around longer to enjoy the place and amenities."

"This is a really fabulous place to stay. It has a fabulous setting next to a small lake with kangaroos coming right up to the chalets. It's an easy walk to the Halls Gap town centre.
