"We loved the relaxing location of this property on the Thornapple River. We were able to kayak, barbeque, watch movies and sit by the campfire. If you are OK with an older home, this is the place for you! We did not want fancy, we wanted family and that's what we got. Thank you so much! "

"We had family flying in from Florida and Nashville for a 3 day stay for a wedding. We had 5 adults and 2 one and half year olds. It was very accommodating. The host was so friendly and we were able to get in early and check out later. We also brought our boat and was able to dock it at the property so we could easily get back and forth to bay pointe. We highly recommend this rental!"

"We rented out both houses for our big family. It was a combination of siblings, grandkids, and grandparents. Everyone had a bed. The houses were super clean. We had so much fun. The houses are both set up like a hotel. You just need to bring food, drinks And beach towels. "

"Overall great place for large gathering. Loved the beach walk into lake, hot tub and sunroom. Couple items to be aware of, lake is quite weedy, and house is right next to busy road which makes opening windows at night an issue. Also, could use more utensils etc to accommodate 15 people. Host was very responsive."

"The staff was super friendly and personable. Check in and check out was easy. The pool and hot tub area was spotless. The complementary breakfast was delicious and the coffee was strong. We didn’t take advantage of the free dinner or drinks but definitely appreciated the option for it. This hotel was a major improvement from the one we stayed at previously. My one complaint is that we only got to stay here for one of the three nights we spent in the Grand Rapids area. We would absolutely stay here again."
