Summary:
Welcome to your private cabin on Lake Ida! Room for the whole family, plenty of parking, a brand-new dock system (with available boat for rent), and a beautiful deck with fireplace overlooking the lake.
The Space:
The main house has three bedrooms, two with a queen bed and one with a full bed. One of the queen bedrooms also has a cot and a Pack n Play. There are two full bathrooms in the main cabin, one on the main floor and one upstairs. On the main floor you'll find two bedrooms (including the one with the cot), a full bath, kitchen, dining area, and two living room areas. Walk out the sliding doors from the dining area to enjoy a new deck with plenty of patio furniture. Enjoy the propane fire pit overlooking beautiful Lake Ida. Across the road from the cabin is a two-stall garage with an additional bedroom (queen size bed) and bathroom. The guest house is only available May - October.
Features:
We do have a 2003 Crownline speed boat (can fit up to 7 people) available for rent during your stay. There are skis in the floor storage and a two-person tube available with rental. Please reach out to book that!
Brand new paddle board available for use.
Both a propane and charcoal grill available for use. Propane fire pit and wood fire pit (firewood not included).
Plenty of activities for kids and the family. There’s a basketball hoop on garage slab (basketballs included), golf toss, cornhole, croquet set, board games and smart TV. It has been an excellent fishing lake, with all the sunfish you can catch off the dock. Bass, walleye, northern and several other fish species. Lastly, the lake has an island that is popular for its rope swing.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the full property for the duration of their stay with the exception of a locked supply closet in the main house. We also have a boat available for rent for $250/day. Please reach out to book that.
The Neighborhood:
Lake Ida is a beautiful 630 acre lake, great for boating and fishing. There is a public access boat launch on the north side of the lake (Lake Ida Public Boat Launch). For eating out, there are several restaurants in the area including The Roadhouse and Parallel 46. For groceries, gas, etc. we'd recommend Lake Park, Pelican Rapids, or Detroit Lakes.
Getting Around:
We're on a dead-end street so there shouldn't be too much traffic. There is parking for at least four vehicles. There is also room at the dock for a boat if you want to bring your own, or you can rent ours :)
Interaction with Guests:
Your host, Noah, will be available before and during your stay :)
