"Fantastic option, bed was extremely comfortable! Great room, shower was awesome, but the staff really made this experience a winner. Everyone we talked to was fantastic, helpful, pleasant and competent even when it was very busy. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Also, while it isn't necessarily in a walkable area, it is on the OTHER side of Lake Placid, closer to the ski jump, which makes it that much easier to hit the loj or head toward keene for hiking without having to battle the town...

"We were just passing through and only stayed one night but we enjoyed our stay. The grounds were very nice and the view from the pool was spectacular. Our room was spacious, very clean and very quiet. We were within walking distance to the downtown area and restaurants. They served complimentary coffee and tea in the morning in the lobby.
