"This property was conveniently located between downtown New Braunfels and Gruene- not really convenient to walk but very close to drive. I stayed midweek and it was very quiet and it would’ve been nice to see some staff who might be able to give a bit of direction to a first time visitor however, online check-in and information was easy to access. The property is undergoing renovations and I definitely look forward to returning with a small group when we can make time to enjoy the property and...

Guadalupe River Paradise w/ Hot Tub, Dock & Kayaks

"We had a great time! The house and location were awesome! The house was spacious and open. Beautiful master bedroom and bath. We would definitely come back again. The kids loved playing in the garage. It was a bit too cool to enjoy the pool, so we were happy to have the hotub. Only negatives were no working icemakers, couches a bit stained and dirty. Our friends staying in the shed bedroom complained about the ac window unit being too loud to use at night. The title of this house rental includes 'kayaks', but they were old and broken with no paddles. Definitely hope to come back when the water levels are back up- but even with the water down, it was still great!"

Lovely home on the river

"We drove in from San Antonio for a wedding and stayed 2 nights! We loved the home and were very comfortable in our beds! We love being outside so the fire pit, the decks and even the front porch were enjoyed! We loved the games we found and enjoyed quality time in this home While enjoying coffee on the front porch we got to meet the neighbors who were so kind to us and lovely to chat with! We also loved our walks along the water and met more locals walking around the water front who were all very nice to talk to! We learned a lot about the river, the dam and history of the area! We can’t wait to come back soon!"

Loved the location

"We stayed 5 nights. The great part: location was awesome on the river. We enjoyed canoeing (which were available at the unit ), fire ring, outdoor games. Saw wild turkeys and deer in the property. Lots of privacy. Everyone had a bed with lots of room. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The dining area was large and was a wonderful gathering area. We truly loved our stay. Close to town and any shopping/ grocery needs Things to improve: indoor ac units need air filters. Upstairs water supply to the shower was not constant… slowed to a trickle and then got a hot blast. Something to be aware of: the bottom bunk room had plenty of room for many guest. Be aware that it is not accessible from the main living floor. You have to go outside and enter from a separate door."
