Lakefront Home Close to Bourbon Trail--Dog friendly and now with WiFi!

This beautiful little lake house and separate cabin sit on two lots at Beaver lake in Lawrenceburg, Ky. It is approximately 15 minutes from Wild Turkey Distillery and 10 minutes from Four Roses Distillery. With some of the best views of the lake, the house has two bedrooms with one full bath and one half bath in the master bedroom. The cabin has one queen bed and two small lofted beds plus its own mini split heat/air system. And yes, both are included in the rental and this is a completely private property! There's also a huge outdoor fire pit and floating dock plus three kayaks visitors are welcome to use. Additionally, Beaver Lake is great for fishing!
Visitors also love all the wildlife this area has to offer; from deer to river otters and the wide range of birds, you’re bound to see some woodland friends during your stay.
Whether you want a low-key place with a lovely deck to sip your coffee and read a book or you’re looking for some outdoor adventures and distillery tours, this location has something for everyone!

Additionally, we now have WiFi! It may not be as top speed as some locations (so feel free to use that excuse with your boss!) but happy to be adding this to our amenity list. Guests are welcome to use the grill--please clean after use--but may need to grab some propane. Those traveling with a boat are advised to drop it in the water before coming to the house due to narrow/winding road.

Wonderful Lake House
Excellent owners, very responsive. This lakeside cabin is the perfect little getaway for relaxation and being close to many of the Bourbon Distilleries. Everything we needed was available in the cabin. The beds (especially in the large main bedroom) were very comfortable. The only one small “drawback” is the driveway is steep and a bit nerve wracking to pull in and out of. But that’s minor and everything else was fantastic! Highly recommend

Beautiful home!
We absolutely loved our stay here! It was so nice to be out in nature. The recommended nearby parks and restaurants were very helpful. We discovered places we never would have found on our own. It was very convenient to get to Lexington and Bardstown, as well as many even closer distilleries. Next time we will book longer to enjoy more time on the lake!

Cozy Lake Cabin
Everything as described, loved the feel and location of this rental! Beautiful lake view, quiet neighborhood and easy access to highways. If you need any essentials, there is a Kroger and a Walmart nearby as well as a few convenience stores. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Bourbon Birthday get away
We did the bourbon trail, did 8 in all but this lakehouse is wonderful, beautiful lake, nice sized, we brought our kayaks but there are sone at the house to use, view was awesome, used firepit to roast hot dogs at night, Lawrenceburg is only 15mins away to get whatever you need, even tho it has a public boat ramp, seems to be a hidden jewel, well worth the trip & we would definitely do this again

Overall good.
Overall good. Air conditioning went out second day, but was taken care of quickly next day. Swept floors when we arrived as there was hair and dirt on them. No body soap, dispenser empty and none in basket. Kids loved the small cabin! Kayaks were fun, but did not catch any fish, our bad luck I guess. Parking is a little tricky, takes practice! Overall not a bad stay and close to several attractions.

Nice place to stay near Bourbon Trail.
We had a nice stay, zero issues with property. Everything just was as described. We visited a few distilleries which was nicer than expected. My boys went fishing, caught a large bass and a few small ones. Lots of wildlife like otters, deer and lots of turtles. This property met all our needs and expectations.

Relaxing and Scenic
We had a much needed relaxing get away on the lake! We loved seeing all of the deer, otters, squirrels, turtles and birds while we relaxed in the yard and on the deck. We took dogs on lots of walks through the neighborhood and on trails in the parks around town.The hostess is so friendly and helpful! We had such a great trip! Thank you!!

Beautiful property...awesome service!
We have been using VRBO since it was vacationrentals.com. Over the years, we've learned that there is never a perfect vacation home. But the whole experience can come down to the service you get after you arrive. In this case, we could not have been happier. The house was clean, everything the pictures promised and ideal for a relaxing holiday. The weather was not perfect, though I think that if Anna could have controlled that, it would have been. We would certainly return again...I highly recommend! Thanks Anna!

Beautiful little lake house with tons of natural light and amazing views. Loved being able to see river otters in the mornings and the occasional beaver. Wish we could have used the kayak but that’s what next time is for!

Overall property was nice. House has some issues such as sagging floors, no internet, bad TV reception, grass was not cut before we arrived, decks or outdoor furniture extremely dirty. House needs a little TLC. Great location if you are doing the Bourbon Trail. Serene country lake setting.

Great place! Nice location! Quiet and relaxing!
The property was great. I would strongly suggest dropping your boat into the water before making a trip to the house. The narrow road, minimal parking and with zero room to turn around with a truck and boat made it very difficult. I do wish we had known that before arrival. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay, location and amenities!

Cute Property with Amazing Lake View
My husband and I stayed here in October of 2022. We were able to bring along our pit bull Vinnie and all 3 of us enjoyed our stay here. The house was quiet and secure, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the back deck was just what we were looking for to be able to sit, relax, and decompress from the rigors of life. One of the best parts of the property was the little cabin set away from the main house. This tiny one-room structure allowed the 3 of us to go lay on the bed and watch out the huge window to sneakily get up close and personal with the wildlife outside! We spent several hours just observing their interactions and laughing at their play. Thank you to the hosts for providing such a lovely place for us to stay with our precious pup!
