3 Bedroom Cottage on the Shores of Chautauqua Lake

Welcome to Cody’s Cottage.
This newly remodeled 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath cottage is located on the shores of Chautauqua Lake. The Cottage is located in an ideal lakefront location close to everything you will need. With beautiful views, you will be able to enjoy property amenities such as the enclosed lakefront porch, outdoor seating, picnic table and grill, private dock and fire pit. For your use at the cottage you will also find fishing poles, board games, books and magazines for rainy weather or those who prefer to stay in.
The cottage is within walking distance of restaurants, grocery and convenience stores, Big Tree Ice Cream Parlor, Smith Boys Marina, Lakewood cinema 8, miniature golf, tennis courts, basketball field, playground, and more! You can also take a short (20 minute or less) drive to the historic Bemus Point Area, Chautauqua Institution, Summer Wind Lake Cruises, National Comedy Center, Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum, Lucille Ball's hometown and burial plot, Southern Tier Brewery, Chautauqua Mall, Laundry, Numerous Chain Restaurants, Wegmans and so much more.
The Cottage comes fully equipped with bed linens, towels, basic kitchen appliances and dishes. The three bedrooms are all located on the second floor and consist of a lake view bedroom with a queen size bed, and two smaller bedrooms, one with a full-size bed and one with bunk beds. There is a half bath on the second floor and full bath with shower on the first floor.
Please note that we do have off season availability for snowmobilers and ice fisherman, the dock is not available during off season rentals, October to May.

Great cabin with dock and easy access to everything

Comfy cabin with private dock, lovely screened in porch, and easy access to restaurants, movie theatre, and Wegmans. Loved our stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Spent a lot of time on the wonderful porch watching all the baby ducks & baby geese outside. A lovely stay & Kim was very responsive throughout the whole process. Highly recommend.

Quiet getaway.

The view was wonderful. We spent most of our time sitting outside looking out at the lake and across it to the farther shoreline. Just what we needed after a busy summer.

Great cottage!

Liked the location on the lake. Easy to visit the other towns. Steps to the 2nd floor were a little steep for 3 70+ year olds but we managed. Owners were very accommodating and timely communication.

The house is adorably decorated, but there is not a lot of room left over for renters stuff. Beautiful location… could not ask for better! Overall a delightful little cabin & I would highly recommend.

House was very clean and a good location. It would be a little cramped for more than 3 or 4 people. Weather was so bad we left early which was not the owner’s fault.

Peaceful Mornings on the Water

Cody's Cottage on Chatauqua Lake

Very nice cottage. The owners have updated the cottage nicely and the views of the lake are spectacular. Plenty of lake frontage with a great fire pit. Nice touches around the cottage making it very cozy. While the cottage is a little tight inside (especially in rainy weather), it has all the conveniences of home. The home is located conveniently to stores, ice cream, a movie theater and so on. Everything was right.

Girls trip 2023

We had a great time at the cottage. The gloomy weather did not stop us from having fun! The fire pit was so relaxing at night and sitting on the dock was great. The cottage is adorable - so cozy, so clean! We love the enclosed porch - we had dance parties and smoked candy cigarettes! It was exactly what we all needed!! So much fun!

Fantastic location, quiet neighborhood, great family experience.

We loved being able to bring our dog with us. The property had everything we needed for our stay and had lots of games and toys for the kids to play with. Nice to be able to walk out into the lake. We saw lots of fish from the dock but did not fish. Neighbors were nice as well.

mid August cottage usage review

was disappointed that there was not a washer and dryer as indicated instead they meant you had to go up the road to the laundromat. very well decorated, but not very, very many places for guests to place their own items only one small closet upstairs in one bedroom. Absolutely gorgeous view lots of good quality kitchen equipment parking was tricky but manageable.

I couldn’t of asked for a better experience!

From beginning to end my family and I had a great experience! Kim, the owner made me feel comfortable and was extremely friendly to work with. Our stay was incredible due to the view, fishing and cottage. My husband and 5 year old loved it. It was a Christmas present it didn’t disappoint. They were both very happy.

Great Stay at Cody's Cottage!

We enjoyed are stay very much! The property was clean and right on the lake. We loved the private dock access and being able to sit on the dock to take in the view. It was a short drive away from Southern Tier Brewery which we went to twice during our long weekend stay. A cute ice cream place is also right across the street. We actually forgot an iPad at the cottage when we left and the host was so accommodating in getting the iPad mailed out to us quickly. We appreciated that so much!
