Lalandia Water Park offers more than just heart-stopping waterslides and relaxing in wave pools. It’s also a resort with several restaurants, an activity centre for kids, a fitness centre and an indoor sporting centre. It is incredible how much there is to do here and most of it is included in the price of accommodation.
Even if you’re not staying at the Lalandia resort, you can still enjoy the water park fun in the tropical Aquadome™. Zoom down water tubes, race your friends down the octopus’s arms, and test your courage as you whiz down the giant Tornado on a four-person dinghy. Young children will love the short slides leading out from a temple into the children’s pool. Dive below the surface of The Cave pool for a glimpse of coral and fish through a glass partition, and feel the power of the sea in the wave pool. Chill out on a bathing ring in the currents of the lazy river, or relax your muscles in the huge sauna. Aquadome™ has a modest entry price, with a discounted price for children under the age of 12 and free entry for children under 3.
For guests of the Lalandia resort, there are even more great activities on offer. Send the kids off to learn the finer points of boiled sweet making, or to try their hand at archery. Sporty types can play indoor table tennis, football and basketball, or head to the fitness centre for a full workout. In Winter World try out your pirouette while ice-skating, get competitive on the bumper cars on ice, or challenge yourself on the 29.5-foot high (9-metre) climbing wall.
Those who have played a little too hard can relax with a massage and a visit to the Jacuzzi, before returning to the scenic self-contained holiday cabins set amidst landscaped gardens. There’s a supermarket at Lalandia making self-catering a breeze. When you don’t feel like cooking, head out for ribs at Bones, a barbecue under the skies at Pampas Grill, and waffles, crepes and ice cream at L’Arte.
Lalandia Water Park is next to Billund Airport, close to LEGOLAND® Resort, and is only a short drive, bus ride or walk from central Billund.
